Lions Club International Peace Poster Calendars and Wine Labels

In partnership with the Silicon Valley Cyber Lions Club (#126169 MD4-C4 CA USA) and other partners, we have launched two international programs; the Peace Poster Calendar and a Peace Poster Wine Label Program. We have turned the Lions International Peace Poster Contest winners’ posters into a calendar and specially labeled wine bottles. Upwards of 600,000 annual worldwide entries by 11-13 years old were submitted from various Lions Clubs events, popular venues, and online globally.

This program commemorates the United Nations 75th Anniversary. In 1945, leaders of Lions Clubs International (LCI) were asked to help establish the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Charter for the U.N. in San Francisco. There will be a brief ceremony to launch these Programs in front of the United Nations Plaza, S.F. at 12:30 pm. Saturday, October 24th – Anniversary Day of Charter of U.N. Please join us.

A portion of the sales and/or donations from the SVCLC International Calendar and Wine Program will be shared by participating clubs, districts, and other partners. Lions Clubs can also purchase calendars for resale and keep the profits for children and Peace Poster Projects. Note that a club is responsible for its tax liabilities.
